From cirtex cpanel, you will see the backup tool. Once you are in it, you can click the full backup > generate/download a full backup. This will bring you to a page requesting your email, enter your email. Once the backup is done, you will receive email stating the backup status, and where to download the backup tar.gz file. Usually you need to ftp to cirtex server, and download that file and store at your local pc. Simple as that. Note: You cannot restore these backups, they can only be restored by your administrator.

The same backup tool can be used to backup home directory, and restore it as well. Also in backup of mysql database, and restore it as well. If you need to revert back to old version of site that you backup before, this is where to start the work. If you come across that you crash the site, and not having backup copy. Contact cirtex support, and they will revert back to the latest copy they already backup.

Its my practice that i do weekly full backup, and download the backup file to my local pc. For safety reason as well.
